Alu Elite / Aluspace Guarantee Overview
Our Guarantee:
This document certifies that all Alu Elite and Aluspace products supplied by BM Bifolding Doors are free from defects in material and workmanship and will function as designed throughout the terms of the following guarantees:
- 10-Year Manufacturer Guarantee:Â Ensures that all Alu Elite / Aluspace products are free from manufacturing defects and will operate as intended under normal use conditions.
- 5-Year Guarantee on Glazed Units:Â Covers defects in materials and craftsmanship of the glazed units within these products.
- 12-Month Moving Parts Guarantee:Â Ensures all moving components, such as hinges and sliders, are free from manufacturing defects.
- 25-Year Guarantee on Powder Coating:Â This long-term guarantee covers the powder coating applied to the aluminium frames against peeling, powdering, blistering, and corrosion, except when caused by bending or folding after the application of the paint. It also covers against chalking, fading, and loss of sheen outside of Qualicoat standards and filiform corrosion.
Powder Coating Certificate of Guarantee:
- Provided by Smart Systems Limited, affirming that the powder coating on our aluminium systems is designed to last, offering durability and aesthetic appeal for 25 years under normal environmental conditions.
Qualicoat Commitment:
- We adhere to Qualicoat standards to ensure a premium grade product that delivers consistent quality and durability, especially suited for architectural applications where appearance and longevity are critical.
After Care Responsibilities:
- End users are responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the products as outlined in the Smart maintenance and care guidance. Regular maintenance helps extend the life and performance of your Alu Elite / Aluspace installations.
Guarantee Exclusions:
- The guarantee does not cover damages arising from incorrect installation, misuse, or external damage due to environmental conditions.
- The guarantees are non-transferable and do not cover indirect or consequential damages.
Maintenance and Cleaning Guidelines:
- Clean with a solution of non-alkaline liquid detergent and warm water, using a soft cloth or non-abrasive brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- In harsh environments, cleaning frequency should be increased to prevent buildup and corrosion.
- Follow specific guidelines for specialised finishes to maintain appearance and integrity of the coating.
